Long Last Love

Viv is moving along slowly on her adventure forward. With Arden close by she agreed to join him at his mountain home for part of the holiday. They invite Viv's best friends, Carrie and Harry, up to the mountains for a gift wrapping party. Things don't go well and Viv soon realizes that she is not the only one going through the process of grieving. Her best friends have something to say about how Viv is going forward and with whom. It doesn't help that Arden once had a serious relationship with Viv's best friend. A complex issue dealing with the awful task of going forward through the holidays.

Cranberry Cove

This issue is one of my favorite issues. It is a favorite because it was inspired by the artistry of a second life friend, Julia Hathor. What a truly talented, real, good person she is.

In this issue Viv is still trying to deal with the loss of Chase. She decides to go the beach house for the weekend. The holidays are quickly approaching and are difficult for anyone who has lost a loved one. What makes matter worse for Viv is the intruding Arden, who will not go away. Arden, a long time friend of Viv and Chase, really wants to be more than friends. Viv is not blind to this attraction but wants no part of a relationship of any kind. She tries to explain this to Arden who is either thick or too much in love to hear.

Romantic Thoughts

Romantic Thoughts is the title of the third issue. I have written most of the story but somehow was blocked and could not complete the issue. I even went as far as to write the music for this particular story. In this issue Viv is summoned to Paris while she was "getting away from it all" in London. Initially Viv did not want to go to Paris but then on the way there she meets someone special. Unfortunately, her sunshine does not last long. Look for this completed issue soon.

Soft Moments

Well, the ending of issue one took me by surprise too. I didn't think that Chase would leave us so soon. The thing is, this is where the adventure really begins. Viv Writer has to adjust to life without her soul mate. The question then becomes, is it possible to go forward without your better half? The answer is simple to some. Yes, you must go on in this process we call life but instructions don't come with that bit of wisdom. You just go on? How? Moment by painful moment Viv must go on. As she stretches forward to grasp for the life lines of the future, Viv decides to go to London to seek refuge and to clear her head. Is getting away the answer? It is a slow uphill journey for Viv as the recent past clings to her thoughts.
With everything she experiences in the lovely London town, Chase is not far from her. In the beauty that surrounds her she shares it with Chase who lives in her.
It is not long before others are interested in Viv and giving them the push can lead to a difficult situations.
In this issue Viv takes an adventure through London, meeting new people while dealing with her grieve head on.
Read this issue and tell me what you think.
